at International
Convention
Costa Mesa, Calif., (April 2,
2001) – Sign Strategies, a full-service custom signage company, was named
“New Store of the Year” by Sign Biz®
Inc., an international developer of
computer-aided sign (CAS) companies, during their Las Vegas convention of sign store owners
worldwide. The award recognizes
Sign Strategies as the business with the highest first year sales volume of any
new Sign Biz® store worldwide. Sign
Strategies outperformed all other new CAS businesses both nationally and internationally.
“Our sales figures not only
exceeded those of other new business owners, but also the sales figures of existing
store owners,” says Paul Glaab, co-owner of Sign Strategies.
Sign Strategies’ inaugural
year attained other important milestones. “We also became a member of the
‘Half-Million Dollar Club’, explains Janice Glaab, co-owner.
“This is the first time a one-year-old store has ever achieved this
milestone, and we credit our team’s hard work in making our first year such
a success.”
In addition, the company's account executive Jason DeSoto was named “Sales Consultant of the Year”
for his outstanding results in sales, outperforming all other sales
consultants worldwide this year. New
to the sign industry, DeSoto is the first rookie ever been
awarded this international award.
Sign Strategies was
awarded three international awards in all, and is recognized by the worldwide
Sign Biz® network
as the top performer among new stores and sales teams.
