The Sign Biz Reunion of 2005 "Best Kept Secret" Band

On April 2, 2005, a great band comes to Las Vegas with five individually unique musicians "who, on stage, exhibit such synergistic chemistry that there is an outright demand to get up and groove."

Dana Point, Calif., (March 17, 2005) - Texas is where the band began to play together, mainly for their own enjoyment as long-time musicians. As most music stories seem to unfold, the band was initially playing to small audiences but as their chemistry grew, so did the crowds and soon the band found themselves a featured group for venues stretching from Orlando, Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada. A lot of confusion lies in the band name as there is no name for the Unnamed Band. The reason behind the name has never been officially explained but the lack of a name itself is quite indicative of the bands collective humor.

The Contest--Appropriately enough, the Unnamed Band is seeking a name... and attendees of the Sign Biz International Reunion of 2005 will have the opportunity to create a moniker that sticks. A new name will be chosen during the evening of April 2nd, when Sign Biz hosts its famous Party high atop Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.

"The new name will be chosen on the basis of originality, loudest cheers, and accompanying thumbs up from the band. The winner will receive a prize of $200 for the winning entry from all names submitted during the evening, a full-color certificate suitable for framing, and the glory of having his/her name announced in the next media release to the sign industry," explained Paul Strauch, VP Marketing for the Sign Biz corporation.

The Unnamed Band now has a small but devoted following in each region of the country. So much so, that the band's popularity in the sign industry has them booked for the International Sign Expo closing bash in the U.S. Their feature performance will be at the Sign Biz Reunion's invitation-only Cocktail Party at Margaritaville's 12-Volt venue, starting at 8:00 PM.

Americans now know of The New Deal, Guess Who, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and Steppenwolf as being great bands who have gained international exposure. The Unnamed Band is set to join this impressive list, as they play for the international gathering of Sign Biz Network Members from around the globe.
