was
ratified
to
sit
as
an
AB
Member
for
the
Southeast
Region,
in
place
of
Paul
Williams,
who
now
sits
on
the
Sign
Biz
Corporate
Advisory
Panel.
·
Steve
Scalph
was
formally
welcomed
and
received
his
plaque
as
the
new
Advisory
Board
Member
for
the
Central
region.

The
Reunion
at
Sea
Sign
Biz
National
Convention
2002:
Each
Regional
Board
Member
to
solicit
ideas,
responses
to
OSW
proposals
from
regional
members
(see
below).

Cocktail
party
proposals
presented
by
Peter
Bates:
The
Cruise
schedule
as
it
related
to
cocktail
party
was
discussed:
o
On
Tuesday,
1/22
the
ship
arrives
in
Nassau
at
7:00
AM
o
Wednesday,
1/23,
the
ship
departs
at
7:00
AM.
The
time
in
Nassau
can
be
spent
shopping,
visiting
Bay
Street,
and
Peter
suggests
a
bus
tour
that
ends
at
4:00
PM
at
the
cocktail
party
venue.
The
bus
would
be
equipped
with
cooler,
and
casual
attire
is
the
theme.
·
A
total
of
12
OSW's
was
considered,
with
repetition
of
the
most
popular
ones
in
two
different
time
slots
so
as
to
accommodate
everyone,
an
estimated
80
people.
OSW's
were
now
suggested,
with
specific
agendas
to
be
determined
via
Network
queries.
In
addition,
it
was
suggested
that
the
entire
agenda
be
finalized
about
three
weeks
in
advance
of
cruise:

The
next
Advisory
Board
meeting
was
scheduled,
to
take
place
at
the
Sign
Biz
Reunion
aboard
the
cruise
ship,
from
4:30
PM
to
5:15
PM
(after
Closing
General
Session).
A
brief
general
session
discussion
ensued,
and
the
meeting
was
formally
adjourned
at
12:00
noon
on
7/22/01
