Comprehensive Education Services Provided to Imaging Sign Company Chain

April 19, 2005 (Dana Point, CA)  Sign Biz, Inc., founder of the largest non-franchise sign chain in the US, has expanded its portfolio of services with the establishment of a Point-of Purchase (P-O-P) marketing and education division. Headed up by President Teresa M. Young, this initiative is the first of its kind; a P-O-P advertising program specifically targeted for the use of imaging sign companies. Staffed by Director of Communications Karen Segura and New Media Marketing Specialist Helene Lohr, the program focuses on providing Sign Biz network members the resources they need to become retail specialists. 

The P-O-P market stands at roughly $17 billion and is rapidly increasing as brand specialists gravitate towards highly effective forms of in-store advertising. P-O-P advertising display and component sales have increased 34% over the last 4 years, and over 70% of all purchase decisions are made in-store. Harold Fischer, the publisher of P-O-P Times magazine states. "From now on, the image a brand projects inside stores will be at least as important as the image conveyed via broadcast and print advertising." 

New technologies available today such as large format and solvent printing bring unprecedented relevance and targeting to the real time customer experience.
