Sign
Biz,
Inc.,
founder
of
the
largest
non-franchise
sign
chain
in
the
US,
has
expanded
its
Dana
Point
offices
with
the
addition
of
a
new,
expanded
Education
Center.
The
full
complement
of
offices
now
total
three
suites
in
the
handsome
Clocktower
Building
in
the
city
known
for
its
famous
harbor.
Previously,
the
business
and
hands-on
training
took
place
in
a
building
next
to
the
one
occupied
by
Sign
Biz
corporate
offices,
out
of
necessity.
"We
planned
two
years
ago
to
have
all
of
our
divisions
in
the
Clocktower
building,
but
at
that
time
there
were
no
additional
suites
available.
We
negotiated
to
have
the
first
option
on
this
large
suite
when
the
former
tenant's
lease
expired,
and
now
here
we
are,"
explained
Paul
Strauch,
VP
Marketing
for
the
Sign
Biz
Corporation.
No
less
noteworthy
is
the
additional
expansion
of
facilities
that
house
the
Marketing
Department
and
Client
Services.
The
Marketing
Department
will
move
from
one
large
office,
to
a
three-room
suite
just
down
the
hall
from
the
current
quarters.
This
is
to
accommodate
the
addition
of
a
new
staff
person
in
Client
Services,
Karen
Segura.
She
was
brought
on
board
the
company
in
November
of
last
year,
to
facilitate
a
number
of
key
services
for
existing
and
new
Network
Members.

"The
availability
of
more
office
space
came
at
the
right
time,"
states
Teresa
M.
Young,
President
of
Sign
Biz,
Inc.,
"We
are
experiencing
a
200%
increase
in
growth
over
the
same
period
last
year,
and
the
addition
of
Kirk
Bishopp
for
technical
support
on
the
East
Coast,
and
Greg
Salzano
as
VP,
Business
Development
here,
along
with
Karen
Segura,
has
required
us
to
expand
our
leasehold
space
for
our
current
staff
of
nine
employees
and
three
contract
staff
members."
Interior
design
services
for
all
Sign
Biz
offices
were
accomplished
by
Young,
whose
background
includes
training
in
color
and
interior
design.
She
uses
her
sense
of
color
and
style
to
assist
new
owners
in
final
logo
selection
and
store
decor.
The education
curriculum is complemented by a minimum of one week of home study, and
a week of In-Store Training, plus more than 17 proprietary manuals and training aides. For further
