THE FAMOUS STAR- STUDDED PARTY
Saturday, April 5, 2003

(April 5, 2003) Always a highlight of the Sign Biz International Conventions, the Party during each year's Reunion event must outdo prior years' galas.  This year was no exception, and more than 120 special guests agreed, it was a night to remember...

The "Before" shot of the venue (pictured) features the private room on the Monte Carlo Micro Brewery. The location framed an incredible event in the manner befitting a star occasion, and when the night was finished, guests could walk (hopefully) to their respective rooms, in preparation for the following day's workshops and events!

We can't forget to mention that stars on hand included "George Burns," "Lucille Ball," "Marilyn Monroe," a huge gourmet feast, and the ever-popular open bar, courtesy of the Sign Biz Gold Sponsors, N. Glantz & Son, and Everbrite.

We've caught many of our Network Members in compromising positions, as evidenced below ;-)

"She was so animated!  Her mannerisms, banter, and pitch were perfect.  I can see why she was a favorite on Jay Leno!"

"I LOVE Lucy!"

"She was incredible. Just incredible-- as was everything at the Party. This event was just first class all the way!"

Here, Lucy asks, "Have you met my dear friends, the Ross's? We go way back!"  Jack asks, "Where's Ricky?"

"Marilyn was darling!  She looked the part, and the guys ate it up!"

"Quite an incredible event-- it is a 10++ and I've got the pictures to prove it!"

Here, Keith Willis has met his match.  There's no escape from Marilyn, or the camera, Keith!

Keith said, "I'm in trouble now... Hey, can you send me a copy of the picture?"

Sue Chesler keeps an eye on her hubby, Bruce, as Marilyn makes herself comfortable...  George has his hand wrapped snugly around Fran Potts' backside, and she is being demure about it.

"I think George Burns was more real than the real George Burns. I saw this man sitting in the corner, and I couldn't stop staring. He grinned and winked at me, and I thought George was really here!"

"That was the best George Burns ever! Where did you find him?"

Elgin Deighton had fun. 'Nuff said.

Hail, hail the gang's all here!

Sign Biz president, Teresa M Young, enjoys her delightful old friends, Marilyn, George, and Lucy.  Later that evening, they reminisced about old times and growing up together.

"The hours flew -- I could have enjoyed this party all night. The food certainly held out, and I think I had two dinners before I left. Great time- a 10+!"

"The party was a blast!  Every year I anticipate the event, and it always exceeds my expectations.  I'll see you next year!!"

Greg and Ruth Owen are the sane folks on the right. Some of our Gold Sponsors from N Glantz & Son  are hobnobbing with Lucy.  Later they were jitterbugging, and after that they were heard to say, "Help me down off this table."

"What a wonderful time we had. The celebrity look-alikes made a great event something extra special. The location was gorgeous, and the endless food and drink rounded out a great night!"

Bill Potts and Lucy go way, way back, or so says Lucy.  Lucy says Bill is her kind of guy, and what Ricky doesn't know won't hurt him.

"Sign Biz and the Advisory Board really outdid themselves. The Reunion really is the #1 way to catch up on everything-- technology, people, marketing, installations, everything. I really liked the sponsor vendors, and have already found three that I will use right away, the day I get back to the business. Thanks a million!"

He's the real deal!

Look at that face-- devilish fun with an impish grin. Ya gotta love it!

"George Burns just blew me away!"

"He makes me believe in reincarnation!"

Our own Paul Strauch, aka Ricky Ricardo, had Lucy going. She wanted to be sure she was taking care of everything, and refilled his drink three times during the evening's festivities.

Ricky took it all in stride-- after all, he is a celebrity in his own right, and has spent many an hour signing autographs, but that's another story!

"I'll see you at the next Reunion, you can count on that!"
