 The “Sales Consultant of the Year” Award goes to a very special individual at the Sign Biz International Reunion each year. This year, Teresa M. Young, President and CEO, reminded the over 100 store owners and guests attending the 2009 Reunion that the award “honors someone who sees opportunities not problems. Someone who doesn’t believe others who say it can’t be done and it pays tribute to someone who possesses the determination and perseverance it takes to build a loyal client base!”
Never were those words truer, than in times of economic recession.
Pacheco’s top grossing month was in January of 2008, his eighth month of employment, with a healthy $127,605. His average monthly sales volume is $31,056.
 This year Zachary Pacheco was honored as the Sign Biz Network Sales Consultant of the Year for his dedication, discipline and drive. Pacheco, on staff for just under two years at A2Z Sign Company in Upland, California was nominated by company owner, Jon Hoffman. While he had a background in Graphic Design, Pacheco had previously been employed as an underground utility contractor working with their estimating department.
"Pacheco now reads signage from blueprints, does take-offs, obtains quotes from vendors, assembles the bid, sends it on to interested parties on bid day and then project-manages the successful bids, both his own and Hoffman’s. Hoffman says, “After nearly 2 years on the job Zach has mastered the skills necessary to find, bid and close Public Works jobs throughout Southern CA."
