Sign Stores
Recognized for Sales Achievements by Sign Biz Inc. at International Convention
Dana Point, Calif., (February 2, 2002) - Sign Biz, Inc., founder of the
largest non-franchise sign chain in the US, honored individual Sign Biz
Network Members for outstanding sales performance in 2001, at the National
Convention in January of 2002. The Sign Biz National Convention took place
during a week-long cruise to the Bahamas, and was attended by 77 store owners
and guests such as Mark Rugen, a Scanvec Amiable instructor, and Mario Herman,
Esq, who sits on the corporation's executive panel.
The awards recognize the
newest members of the Million-Dollar Milestone Club, the $750,000 Club, and
the Half-Million Dollar Club for annual sales meeting or exceeding one of
those benchmarks. In addition, ten stores were inducted into the new Century
Club, for sales that meet or exceed $100,000 in a single month.
This year's sales
achievement awards were granted in each category as follows: One new store
entered the Million-Dollar Milestone Club, making a total of nine stores in
the Sign Biz Network who have received this distinct honor; two stores were
inducted into the $750,000 for a total of eight honored in this category to
date; and a new member of the Half-Million Dollar Club was recognized, making
a total of 25% of the chain's 1-year-old and up operations grossing at least a
half-million dollars per annum.
The nine stores honored
with the Century Club award, and their qualifying monthly sales figures are as
follows: Sign-Age Inc, owned by Sue Callinan, $100,000; Letters and Logos,
owned by Gene and Cathy Goble, $105,496; Signmax, owned by Scott Pavloff,
$108,000; The Signman Co, Ltd owned by Peter Bates, $110,000; Sign Design
owned by John Bennett, $110,000; Wolfpack Sign Group owned by Peter and Carolyn Wolf,
$136,406; Affordable Signs & Graphics owned by Klaus Hindrich, $900,000;
Banner Express owned by Clyde, Alice and Keith Willis, $234,000; and
Signmakers owned by Paul Stoakes, $250,000.
