Support Now & Always

Sign Biz® is the founder of a worldwide chain of independently-owned digital sign & graphics businesses, and provides research, education, technical support and hands-on training to digital sign and graphics industry professionals. Consulting, project management and ongoing education programs and publications are offered to Members.

Support personnel for Sign Biz are dedicated to the entire business development process for new entrepreneurs, and are called upon by all Members for their particular areas of expertise. Years may pass, and the relationships continue to grow. When a business moves, expands into a new location, the owner calls up for lease advice, or new floor plans. When a new graphic designer is hired, the call is for the important “second interview” skills of our professional Sign Technology Instructor.

This means that you can count on a constant source of support for the life of your business. A specialized industry coach, Paul Williams, is another layer of expertise, provided for the initial two years and available for as many years after that as the owner wishes to contract.

Teresa M. Young, Sign Biz President & CEO, has coached hundreds of Sign Biz Members over the the past three decades. She was the first computer-aided sign making industry woman to open a shop in California in 1985. Today her organization is increasing the quality of life for many entrepreneurs. She has worked with business owners to redefine the owner’s role, decreasing involvement in day-to-day operations by 50%, while increasing owner’s income. She works with large corporations, national suppliers, and the Sign Biz network to bring third-party objectivity, industry-proven marketing avenues, and well-defined systems and procedures for growth.

From help wanted ads to position descriptions, confidentiality agreements, employee policy manual, training manuals and videos, and experienced staff on hand at Sign Biz, Inc., you are primed for growth. Perhaps one of the most instrumental activities conducted by Sign Biz, Inc. on behalf of Sign Biz Network Members is Research & Development into new products, techniques, equipment, and software. Beta test of many products takes place at the locations of Network Members who have volunteered to report on new products. It is this partnership which often drives new product introductions. Additionally, Sign Biz has the distinct privilege of being part of the sign industry’s leading organizations in the areas of environmental sustainability, and electronic digital signage. From digital print technology in 1994, to the first full-service video sign program in 2004, to the sign industry’s first website for eco-minded sign shops, EcoSignage.org, we continue to innovate, now offering the most powerful on-line architectural sign design and fulfillment e-commerce system for the website built for each Member.
