For 20 years, Teresa Young has supported new entrepreneurs entering the digital sign and graphics industry, originally as mentor and trainer while operating her own sign business (1986-1992). Teresa sold her sign business to become President and CEO of Sign Biz, Inc., a full-service business development company that supports a chain of nearly 200 independently owned sign companies throughout the US, Bahamas, Canada, Mexico, Philippines, and Mongolia, the largest of its type.
By 1994, Sign Biz was hailed as the fastest growing sign network in America, receiving media attention in such publications as Entrepreneur Magazine, Signs of the Times and Sign Business magazines. Income Opportunities featured an article citing the company’s integrity as a major factor contributing to the organization’s success. Teresa is one of less than a handful of sign chain leaders with more than 20 years of industry leadership that includes front line experience as a sign store owner for six of those years. She is committed to the growth and development of the Sign Biz Network and dedicated to each member's success. She has also developed a complete education program and training center for sign industry professionals, and established a national missing children's initiative utilizing digital services provided by her chain of sign companies, the Miles of Hope project.
Here is a summary of accomplishments and significant contributions that have made Teresa Young one of the most influential entrepreneurs of our industry:
